Latin America oversight

Mauro Gregorio is the President of Dow’s Performance Materials & Coatings, one of the three business operating segments within Dow. With annual sales of $10 Billion, this segment provides market-driven and sustainable innovations to several fast-growing industries, including infrastructure, transportation, electronics, as well as home and personal care. Gregorio also has the executive oversight for Dow business in Latin America Region.

Gregorio has a track record of increasing responsibility, significant market and international experience, and considerable achievements at Dow. He joined the Company in 1984, and has held a variety of leadership roles, spanning business management, commercial, supply chain and technical service, across several Dow’s upstream and downstream, market-facing businesses, including Coatings, Consumer Solutions, Plastics, Feedstocks & Energy.

Gregorio has provided strategic oversight of the Dow Corning integration and ensured the seamless integration of Dow Corning’s silicones business, its functions and global sites into Dow. Through his leadership, the Dow Corning integration has delivered more than $600 million in cost synergies on time and achieved growth synergies one year ahead of the plan. Upon closing the transaction, Gregorio was named the CEO of Dow Silicone Corporation, a critical component of Dow’s Performance Materials & Coatings.

A strong advocate for Inclusion and Diversity, Gregorio is the executive sponsor of Hispanic & Latin Network, one of Dow’s employee resource groups that focus on attracting, retaining,and developing talents, and creating an inclusive culture. He is also committed to community engagement, serving on the Board of Directors for United Way Great Lakes Bay Region and MidMichigan Health Foundation, while providing scholarship and fundraising for community colleges. For multiple years, Gregorio has been on the EMpower Top 100 Ethnic Minority Executive Role Models list supported by Yahoo Finance and was recognized #1 on the list in 2020

Gregorio serves as the U.S. private sector co-chair of the U.S.-Brazil CEO Forum, which meets regularly with high level officials of both governments to strengthen the U.S.-Brazil economic and trade relationship. He is also on the Board of Directors for Eagle Materials Inc., a leading US manufacturer of basic construction materials that are used in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure and energy applications.

Gregorio earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Escola de Engenharia Maua in Brazil and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwood University in Michigan.
