Business President, Consumer Solutions; Latin America oversight
Mauro Gregorio is the Business President of Dow Consumer Solutions. He is responsible for providing strategic direction and engaging a dedicated customer-centric organization to deliver consistent performance and profitable growth, while ensuring long-term success that builds on a unique innovation portfolio and one of the largest digital platforms in the industry. In addition, Mauro has the executive oversight for Dow business in Latin America.
Gregorio joined Dow in 1984. He has significant market and international experience after working at several Dow locations globally and in a variety of functional capacities in commercial, supply chain, technical service and business leadership roles.
Prior to his Business President role, Gregorio held the position of Vice President for the Dow Corning integration. He was responsible for the strategic oversight of the integration activities, ensuring the seamless integration of Dow Corning’s silicones business, its functions and global sites in Dow. Through his leadership, the Dow Corning integration has delivered more than $600 million in cost synergies on time, and achieved growth synergies one year ahead of the plan. Upon closing the transaction, Gregorio was named the CEO of Dow Silicones Corporation, a critical component of Dow Consumer Solutions.
Gregorio has worked in leadership positions across a number of upstream and downstream market-facing businesses. As the Performance Plastics Commercial Vice President for EMEA and later North America, he drove growth and business development efforts with global brand owners in Dow’s Hygiene, Medical and Packaging businesses. As the Global Business Director for Engineering Plastics, he led a team that built the innovation pipeline for Dow’s participation in high end markets; and in Dow’s Feedstocks and Energy portfolio, he was active in delivering innovative solutions to improve sustainability.
Gregorio earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Escola de Engenharia Maua in Brazil and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwood University in Michigan.
