Debra Bauler is chief information and digital officer for Dow, a global materials science company with 2024 sales of approximately $43 billion. Bauler is a member of Dow’s Leadership Team and has executive oversight of the Company’s global information technology and digital operations.

In her role, Bauler leads Dow’s enterprise-wide digital transformation and data strategy, advancing the company’s digital capabilities in areas such as information systems, artificial intelligence, data analytics, intelligent automation, and cybersecurity. Her efforts are focused on accelerating innovation, enhancing productivity, and supporting Dow’s growth and business objectives along with improving customer experience.

She is a passionate advocate for inclusive leadership and talent development, serving as executive sponsor for several internal initiatives focused on advancing women in technology and STEM careers.

Bauler brings more than 30 years of experience and large-scale IT leadership to this role. Before joining Dow in 2023, she spent more than 28 years at Cargill, where she held a variety of leadership roles including vice president of IT and Global Group CIO. In these roles, she delivered innovative and award-winning solutions that provided business value across a diverse mix of business models.

Bauler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business computer information systems from St. Cloud State University and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Midland Center for the Arts, supporting community engagement through science, history, and the arts.
