Debra Bauler is chief information & digital officer for Dow, a global materials science company with 2024 sales of approximately $43 billion. A business-focused technology leader with a passion for delivering value through innovative and value-enabled solutions, Bauler is responsible for driving the global strategy for information technology and digital capabilities to advance Dow’s growth and business strategies. She is a member of Dow’s Leadership Team which sets the strategic direction, defines priorities and is accountable for delivering enterprise-level results.

Bauler joined Dow in February 2023 as the vice president of Global IT. In this role, she has been instrumental in advancing Dow's IT strategies and operations on a global scale.

Bauler brings more than 30 years of experience and large-scale IT leadership to this role. She spent more than 28 years at Cargill, where she held a variety of leadership roles including vice president of IT and CIO for multiple divisions, Global SAP Leader, Regional IT leader, and much more. In these roles, she delivered innovative and award-winning solutions that provided business value across a diverse mix of business models. Early in her career, Bauler was focused on data, programming and technology that brought value to Cargill and Target customers as well as business teams.

Bauler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Information Systems from St. Cloud State University and has completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
