Our ongoing United Way partnership helps more people access basic needs and unlocks opportunities in Dow communities, specifically in Latin America and North America.
Across North America in 2023, Team Dow colleagues pledged $3.3 million in our annual workplace giving campaign to support 570 community-centered and locally-led organizations.
Increased inclusion: We’re all in
Our ALL IN ERG Fund harnesses the passion and perspective of our 10 employee resource groups, collaborating with community organizations to tackle the greatest inclusion, diversity and equity needs.
Since the fund launched in 2019, we have committed $1.45 million to support 66 ALL IN ERG projects in 26 countries worldwide.
Disaster resiliency and response
Every day, many individuals face difficult choices and unexpected events impacting lives and livelihoods. These challenges can be exacerbated based on the location or systemic inequities impacting certain communities.
The barriers that prevent a community from thriving are unique and require breakthrough solutions and new forms of collaboration spanning sectors. In 2023, we contributed to:
- The continued recovery from Hurricane Ida in Louisiana
- Earthquake relief in Turkey and Morocco
- Storm relief in Bahia Blanca, Argentina
- Humanitarian aid for the war between Israel and Hamas
- Deployments with Team Rubicon and our Veterans Resource Group, known as VETNET, in Nova Scotia, Canada, and Texas, Michigan and Florida in the United States.
Launched in 2021, the Dow Employee Relief Fund provides short-term monetary assistance by aiding employees experiencing significant financial hardship following a disaster.
