Nestor de Mattos is president of Dow’s Industrial Intermediates & Infrastructure (II&I) business operating segment. In this role, de Mattos oversees an industry-leading portfolio of businesses with annual sales of more than $11 billion, including Polyurethanes, Chlor-Alkali & Vinyl, Construction Chemicals, and Industrial Solutions. He also has executive oversight for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI).

Most recently, de Mattos served as vice president and Chief Supply Chain Officer, leading Dow’s Integrated Supply Chain & Procurement organization across value chains, manufacturing flows, logistics, customer service and sourcing. Across his more than 25 years with Dow, he has held leadership roles in marketing, sales, business management, and global operations across Latin America, North America, and global teams, giving him broad perspective on how Dow serves customers and creates value across geographies and value chains.

In 2025, de Mattos was appointed to the Make-A-Wish Michigan Board of Directors. He also serves as the executive sponsor of the Hispanic and Latin Network, Dow’s employee resource group representing colleagues and allies of Hispanic and Latin heritage, and is the Dow Executive Chair for the United Way Great Lakes Bay Region campaign.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Sao Paulo University in Brazil and an MBA from Northwood University in Midland, Mich.
