Legal Entity Rationalization changes for suppliers

Dow Inc. and affiliated companies have initiated a Legal Entity Rationalization project to optimize our legal structure and simplify how we transact with our customers. This site can be referenced to validate the information that you have received.

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic and after careful consideration, Dow has decided to reduce the scope of the previously communicated legal entities. The impact for changes will be focused on the Latin America area, with the exception of Brazil.

For more information on letters and specifics on what legal entities have been removed, please refer Supplier Reference Documents section below. The specific legal entities have been outlined in ‘Legal Entities Removed from May 2020 Implementation’.

For the your planning purposes, the Latin America legal entity changes are targeted to occur on May 4, 2020. To ensure a seamless transition, a transaction and shipping recess for the impacted legal entities is intended to begin at the end of the business day on April 30, 2020 and is targeted to conclude on May 4, 2020. During this time, transactions and shipment schedules of the impacted legal entities will be arranged accordingly.

The spread of the COVID-19 virus has had an unprecedented impact on everyone globally. As companies are having to change their routines to keep everyone safe, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Dow appreciates your continued support and loyalty and we will continue to work closely with you during this challenging time.
