Code of Business Conduct for Suppliers
Dow selects and manages more than 30,000 material and service suppliers worldwidebased on a robust set of criteria, ranging from performance and economics toenvironmental, social, and governance (ESG) implementation. Engaging suppliers thatprioritize sustainability is critical for us.
Supplier Diversity Program
This program’s mission is to support underrepresented and minority businesses. Inaddition to unlocking growth via diverse spending and achieving top benchmarkperformance, it drives accountability for supplier diversity across our entire corporationand value chain. It also uses advocacy and outreach to increase support for diversesuppliers that promote workforce inclusion, diversity & equity (ID&E).
Logistics Supplier Awards
Our 4STAR & DowGOL programs encourage and recognize Dow’s logistics supplier partnersfor excellent performance in safety, sustainability, social responsibility, and service. Kickingoff in Latin America, the Logistics Supplier Award programs were also implemented acrossAsia, Europe, and North America.
Logistics Service Provider Assessments
Dow implements sustainable business practices across our entire value chain by settinghigh standards for our logistics services providers (LSPs) via an extensive risk-basedprogram to qualify providers and establish periodic follow-up assessments. Theseassessments include reviewing health & safety practices, labor practices, environmentalcompliance, and security—as well as identifying shared improvement opportunities.

Dow becomes first chemical company to join the GLEC
The Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) is a group of companies, industry associations and programs committed to establishing and implementing a universal and transparent framework to calculate logistics emissions.
2020
Dow is the inaugural signatory to the Sea Cargo Charter (SCC)
The SCC is a framework for measuring, aligning, and reporting bulk vessel chartering activities in the interest of achieving established decarbonization targets. By joining SCC, Dow committed to measure and publicly report its chemical tanker chartering activities.

Dow partners with CDP Supply Chain program
The mission of this partnership is to collect climate data on key suppliers and manage their environmental impacts. CDP has created a system that has resulted in unparalleled engagement on environmental issues worldwide.

Dow joins “Together for Sustainability” initiative
This industry group is focused on improving the sustainability of chemical supply chains. It will allow Dow to engage with suppliers in a streamlined and strategic way, leveraging the work of our industry peers and contributing our own outlook on sustainable supply chains.

Transparency on the emissions impact created by products in value chains is essential for effective decarbonization business decisions. Leading organizations have come together in the PACT, with the end goal of carbon accounting system that mirrors financial accounting.

Dow becomes a founding member of the European LGBTIQ Chamber of Commerce (EGLCC)
Dow’s membership supports EGLCC’s aim to make European LGBTIQ businesses more visible in their local business communities.

Dow co-creates and leads the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Accelerator program alongside BASF and Ecolab
The purpose of this program is to help fill the gap in diverse suppliers in the chemicals industry. More than 80 businesses applied to the program and 12 were selected for the first cohort.
