All political contributions at Dow are reviewed by a Dow Government Affairs work group which makes recommendations to the Vice President of North American Government Affairs & Advocacy for alignment with our contributions focus, and compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct and federal and state law.
The Vice President of North American Government Affairs & Advocacy is responsible for approval of political contributions and management of the political contributions budget that is approved by the Vice President, Global Government Affairs.
The Vice President North American Government Affairs & Advocacy elevates political contributions for review and approval by the Vice President, Global Government Affairs, and for further review and approval by the Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Financial Officer, and General Counsel, as appropriate.
The Environment, Health, Safety & Technology Committee of the Dow Board of Directors has oversight responsibilities for the Company's involvement in government policy and disclosure on corporate political spending activities.
