Asphalt modified with DuPontTM Elvaloy® RET handle easily and perform well, making them ideal for cost-effective, long-lasting airport runway paving improvements. In Mexico, runways and taxiways made with Elvaloy® have been built at Guadalajara, Culiacan, Puerto Vallarta and Colima. Typical pavement sections have been 20 to 25 m wide, with wear coarses 5 to 8 cm thick, including dense mixes and an open-graded top layer.
