The Dow Gives Education Grants Program supports funding for innovative and creative projects that enhance STEM education in the classroom

The Dow Gives Education Grants Program is ecstatic to announce six local schools are the recipients of grant awards, up to $10,000, that will be used to power innovative and creative projects in local classrooms that align with Dow’s Global Citizenship strategy to invest in the workforce of tomorrow by focusing on classroom to career activities and educator empowerment. Dow believes a quality educational system is critical to the future success of both the community and local industry, and the Dow Gives Education Grants Program is one of many ways Dow seeks to support educational success and, ultimately, community sustainability.

“Now, more than ever, it is important for educators to take learning to the next level in their classrooms,” said Gabriella Cone, Public Affairs Manager, Dow Texas Operations. “The use of cutting edge technology and project based learning, such as the programs funded with these grants, will enhance the way instruction is delivered and will hopefully encourage students to continue to pursue a STEM related field of study and ultimately a successful career.
