The Dow Plaquemine site conducts bi-weekly sampling along the perimeter of our site that targets benzene in accordance with Methods 325A and 325B of Appendix A to 40 CFR Part 63.

Dow is committed to listening to our communities – their concerns, their questions and their needs. We have done this for decades through our Community Advisory Panels (CAPs), our community engagement, and through our relationships with near neighbors. We also support the consistent, fair implementation and enforcement of regulations that are protective of all communities’ health and environmental quality. The purpose of this website is to share information with our neighbors, and providing communities with:

• A map showing the location of each monitor and other relevant topographical information including any nearby water bodies, roadways and adjacent land uses.
• A table showing the information for each monitor for the calendar year and set out in a manner that can be understood by those without training in air monitoring.

Monitoring data for each monitor is updated no later than 30 days after a biweekly air sample is collected at a monitor.
