Work-life balance looks different for all of us. We’re here to help you find what works for you. Whether you’ve left the workforce to care for your family, taken an extended medical leave, you were actively serving your country, or have taken time off for educational reasons, Program ReAction is the chance for motivated individuals to return to work and have a long-term career with Dow.
If you’re hired into the returnship program, we will help you pivot in your role or go back to work in a full-time role, such as, Improvement Engineer, Chemist, and Process Safety Focal Point. This allows you to learn job skills through interacting, engaging, and being mentored by experienced Dow business and functional leaders to aid in your return to work.
Apply these skills to drive the plant level continuous improvement program targeted at delivering maximum value from the assets, while continuously improving process safety and production efficiency as an Improvement Engineer
Support manufacturing operations, lab technology and method upgrades by conducting laboratory analyses and evaluating results, as needed, which provides critical data as a Chemist
Partner with the Technology Center and EH&S leaders to implement business strategies for meeting EH&S goals as related to process safety and provides Process Safety expertise for Management of Change as the Process Safety Focal Point
Review and providing recommendations to enhance the distribution network, and by ensuring current manufacturing strategies are appropriate
Tactical plans across the assigned plants – while maintaining strong linkage into Plants to ensure conformance to schedule and drive labor / capacity plans, and into Areas to secure customer service delivery
Support new item introductions, ensuring product availability for all customers, as well as item discontinuations, mitigating product obsolescence
