*This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (“Diamond Infra”) company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1, 2027.  At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company. *​

About You and This Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Planning Manager located in Houston, TX!  In this role, you’ll apply deep financial expertise and commercial insight to lead strategic initiatives that drive long-term business success. You will be instrumental in shaping and developing the finance organization capability to support Diamond Infra’s ambitious growth trajectory and  joint venture stakeholder management.

You’ll support annual and long-term financial planning, value-based strategy development, corporate analysis, and economic evaluations. You’ll also contribute to leadership meeting preparation, strategic portfolio reviews, and joint venture governance.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges. You’ll collaborate across teams to assess strategic options, provide recommendations that maximize shareholder value, and support large-scale business studies. Your work will directly shape the organization’s strategic direction.



Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with business and finance teams to lead core planning activities, including developing budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide input and challenge business plans and strategies, proactively addressing risks and proposing mitigation plans.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships across departments to drive alignment with organizational performance goals.
  • Oversee annual and multi-year planning processes, including top-down/bottom-up planning, engagement materials, and financial plan development.
  • Collaborate with Finance Accounting & Control teams to Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, aligning with corporate policies and accounting standards
  • Work with operations teams across multiple sites to build trust, share context, and establish effective ways of working.
  • Drive standardization and simplification of planning and reporting processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • Support executive leadership with strategic financial insights, board-level reporting, and modeling.
  • Benchmark performance against industry peers and incorporate external market data into planning and forecasting.
  • Champion the use of FP&A tools to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s in Finance
  • CPA/CFA
  • Experience in the execution of enterprise-level or segment -level strategic initiatives
  • Extensive Finance Reporting experience
