Provides expertise in the area of import & export, trade compliance and logistics operation. Works with the Mode and Regional Leaders to lead cross-modes work process enhancements and cooperate project implementation in Asia Pacific region, and supports improvements in service, efficiency, capacity, and/or value creation to business.

Responsibilities / Competency:

*Perform as the regional Focal Point for implementation of new global initiative activities, e.g. AOM, trade compliance control processes and tools, support corporate projects and new business opportunities

*Align with Global function strategy and business requirement to apply/pilot local industry new developments, best practice or innovation in logistics operation for long term service competitiveness.

*Implement Performance Metrics, and assess opportunities for improvement based on internal performance, external best practices and new emerging capabilities

*Manage the Regional Training Program.

*Initiate MOC for regional changes and change communication to stakeholders; document operating discipline to assure process standardization across the region

*Perform as the Super User to participate system design and test.

*Facilitate and conduct appropriate training for process, systems, tools, methodology, and functional disciplines.

*Define and gather cross mode/countries functional requirements for system design and enhancement.

*Liaison with ISC Improvement & Scale on Digital Acceleration efforts for multiple projects across modes/countries for operational requirement and interdependency validation, and implementation, etc.

Skills required / Critical Success Factors

7+ years Supply Chain or logistics experience, with extensive knowledge and know-how in logistic processes or end to end ISC work flow.

7+ years of system interface skillset.

*Possess strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, problem solving, facilitation, initiative, and leadership skills.

*Ability to balance business requirements, operational optimization and regulatory compliance

*Ability to solve complex problems with a cross functional team, interact with people from different cultural backgrounds globally, across Dow businesses and functions

*Courage to challenge status quo to drive continuous improvement.
