Dow Thailand is looking for Senior Technical Sales Specialist, based in Bangkok. We are looking for person who has experienced in Polyurethanes industries in Construction and Cold Chain business are preferred.
You will be responsible for managing sales of small to medium-size accounts, limited complexity and geographical expanse with the key objective to first maintain then grow in alignment to the sales/marketing plan. Deliver sales goals or plans for the account/customer that manages and identify main customer needs to define additional growth strategies for current and potential customers. Acts as customer’s advocate and balances business goals with their demands.

Responsibilities:
- Execute sales and marketing plans, delivering in both volume and value.
- Develop sales plans aligned with commercial/marketing strategies in coordination with other functions.
- Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain.
- Lead and conduct negotiations, developing and implementing price strategies aligned with business goals.
- Understand customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain market share.
- Align with APAC Polyurethane business and commercial/marketing strategy to develop and execute comprehensive business goal.
- Drive business growth in Energy Efficiency, Construction, and other potential Polyurethane sectors in Thailand.
- Collaborate cross functional team like PU Technology/Marketing/Business development for new business initiative in Thailand.
- Identify new market opportunities, enhance market penetration, and secure existing business.
- Manage assigned marketing communications projects and programs.
- Support and conduct local marketing activities such as product launches, annual showcases, campaigns, ideation initiatives, and co-marketing activities.
- Ensure seamless transition of marketing opportunities to sales opportunities.
- Follow up diligently to close deals and ensure clients receive exceptional service from initial inquiries to post-sales support.
- Develop customer interaction plans, distributor incentives, and other tactical commercial initiatives.
- Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in Thailand.
- Consider legal implications, customs regulations, and Dow sales processes.
- Collaborate with other functions and stakeholders to deliver customer experience (CX) results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry/Polymer Science/Material Science/Chemical Engineering or Business-related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Chemical Industry, preferably PU related markets in Energy Efficiency/Construction/ Infrastructure/O&G.
- Good command in written and spoken English, preferably 3rd language ability in Chinese/Japanese/Korea
- Good presentation skill and experienced in project management skill.
- Thai native speaking required.
