Dow Promise helps educationally and economically challenged young people realize their full potential.
Dow and Habitat for Humanity International have been building great things together since the early 1980s. Dow's commitment and contributions reach beyond science and technology to help provide sustainable, affordable housing to those in need. Dow lends support to Habitat in many ways, including house sponsorship, product donation and volunteer work crews at builds around the world.
Habitat for Humanity is excited to expand the significant longtime support of Dow and its employees into an opportunity to match the professional skills of Dow retirees with project needs at local Habitat affiliates around the country. We are looking for enthusiastic people with the ability to donate their expertise to various projects. The available opportunities will help you gain experience in a nonprofit setting in the community. Available opportunities include projects such as assisting with business development and helping to implement "green building" and youth education programs.
Dow puts a strong emphasis on both global citizenship and defining community success. The overarching goal and focus for Dow is to build sustainable communities within which they exist. Through their partnership with United Way, which dates back to more than 75 years, we have been able to work together to improve communities on a national scale and advance both of our missions.
See the United Way website for more information.
The Dow Action Network is designed to help Dow's U.S.-based employees and retirees positively impact the outcome of the legislative debates and elections at both the state and national levels.
Through active voter participation, coordinated grassroots response and Political Action Committee (PAC) contributions, Dow employees and retirees have a stronger, unified voice.
