STEM Village in Sophia Antipolis France

MIDLAND, Mich. - December 16, 2016 -

Dow employees from Dow’s Sophia Antipolis Innovation Center recently participated in a Science Festival hosted by the French University of Nice Côte d’Azur, the Sophia Antipolis district authority, and Sophia Club Enterprises. The event was the second edition of the “Village des Sciences et de l’Innovation,” which took place in October 2016. Dow was one of approximately 60 companies from the area that came together to showcase their innovations with the general public. More than 6,000 chemistry students, families and neighbors of the science park attended the exhibition.

Dow Home Care & Personal Care as well as Adhesives & Functional Materials laboratories presented their innovative technologies used in everyday products such as dishwasher detergent tablets and gels, sun protection products, shower gels, hair gels, fabric conditioners, adhesive tape, wipes and recyclable artificial grass.
