Kyle Hart Recognized as a Rising Star Under 35 by Plastics News

Midland, Mich - August 09, 2017 - - Kyle Hart, associate research scientist for Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics (P&SP), has been recognized as a “Rising Star under 35” by Plastics News, a notable plastics trade publication.

Hart has proven himself a strong leader and innovator since joining Dow in 2014. In his current position, Hart leads a global technical development team for the Industrial and Consumer Packaging market. One of Hart’s major contributions was helping develop and launch an improved stretch film product that offers enhanced processability, a key consideration for customers.

Hart joined Dow after earning his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Penn State University. He was previously recognized for his early career success with the Younger Chemist Leadership Development Award presented by the American Chemistry Society in 2016. He was honored with other rising stars at the “The Future is Plastics” event recently hosted by Plastics News.
