Dow Brazil Joins with Other Companies to Support Racial Inclusion
Midland, Mich - August 11, 2017 - - Dow Brazil, through its internal African-American Network (AAN), is partnering with Boticário, Bradesco, KPMG, Microsoft, and Unilever to promote racial diversity in the country. The collaboration has resulted in creation of the “Toda Cor” (All Color) alliance, whose work will focus on supporting inclusion of Afro-descendant professionals in the labor market.
As the initiative's leader, Dow believes it is important to share experiences among companies that are engaged in and committed to promoting diversity. The alliance will work to bring visibility to the issue and promote actions that help drive the effective inclusion and development of Afro-descendants in alliance companies.
“We are very proud to lead this multi-company initiative. Dow and the other companies that form this new alliance are aware of the significant role they play in the society and are fully committed to contributing to the creation of a fairer and more equal society,” states Fabian Gil, president of Dow for Latin America.
