The Viapar (Paraná Integrated Highways) is responsible for more than 500 km of roads in southern Brazil. The state's existing infrastructure makes Paraná the main highway and railway intersection in Brazil, with links to the southern states and other parts of the country. Interconnecting roads, railways, ports, airports and waterways give Paraná a multimodal transportation system linking major production centers with the principal consumer markets and with the Port of Paranaguá. In 2006, an 80-km Viapar road section was laid using Elvaloy® RET in a special mix called \"MICRO a Quente.\"
