Bardin Elected to AIChE Board of Directors
MIDLAND, Mich. - December 16, 2016 -
Billy B. Bardin, global operations technology director, has been elected to the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Board of Directors for a three-year term from 2017-2019. The AIChE announced its newly elected officers and board members at the annual meeting in San Francisco in November 2016. During his term, Bardin will be representing the AIChE Board of Directors on the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) Governing Board and on the Career and Education Operation Council (CEOC) as well as on other administrative committees.
“Billy's broad experience, leadership and commitment to driving technology and innovation combined with his dedication to the development of technical talent across Operations positions him well for the important role of AIChE director,” said Paul Dean, vice president of engineering solutions and technology centers. “His breadth of experiences in industry and academic settings will be beneficial for AIChE and our industry.
