Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager - Value Chain and Sustainable Packaging. This role can be located in Houston, TX, Midland, MI, Collegeville, PA, or Virtual Office in the United States or Canada. The Marketing Manager for Value Chain and Sustainable Packaging drives the positioning of Dow solutions at all points in the value chain, outside of direct customers, with a goal of accelerating adoption of Dow's new technologies, promoting the full portfolio, and delivering on Dow goals around sustainable packaging, with a special focus on enabling 100% of Dow's applications in packaging to be recyclable, developing new business models around sustainability and on the emerging trends and players around e-commerce. Includes developing and fostering relationships with brand owners, retailers, equipment OEMs, and other material suppliers to achieve pull-through and mindshare with value chain influencers and decision makers.
Commercial owner of relationship with value chain partners (brand owners, retailers, OEMs, associations, design agencies, universities, copackers and all other key influencers of packaging.
Maintain a market driven outside-in view to translate insights into actionable strategies with the MMT. Keep broad awareness of trends in the CPG industry and how they relate to packaging.
Promote Dow's full portfolio of products, technologies, and application know-how across the value chain. Drives quantified value propositions discussions across the value chain.
Commercialize project opportunities that result in new and or improved packages on the shelf that have been enabled by Dow driven collaborations, technologies and/or expertise that increase total value creation and improve sustainability.
Deliver on Close the Loop (Design for Recyclability-D4R) goals, enabling the adoption of new technologies by brand owners that are fully recyclable.
Identify and develop partnerships with new value chain players, especially, but not limited, to the new trends around e-commerce.
Responsible for implementing platforms endorsed in the MMTs and aligned with regional market and business priorities, a core member of MMTs, providing insights to accelerate growth, information on trends and unmet. customer needs, that can help influence strategies on new product development, positioning, competitive insights and possible IP.
Proactive communication with core marketing and sales on potential impact with direct customers.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

A degree discipline in Marketing or a Technical degree.
Knowledge of Packaging markets and applications.
Experience in Packaging from a Commercial or Technical side.
