Brendy Lange


President, Performance Materials & Coatings

Brendy Lange is president of Dow Performance Materials and Coatings, one of the three business operating segments within Dow. With annual sales of $10 Billion, this segment provides market-driven and sustainable innovations to several fast-growing industries, including infrastructure, transportation, electronics, as well as home and personal care. He is a member of the company’s Leadership Team.

Previously, Lange served as Business Vice President for Dow Industrial Solutions where he was responsible for the growth and profitability of this $5 billion industry-leading portfolio that provides a diverse range of products and services that enable more sustainable manufacturing, consumer, and energy solutions.

Since joining Dow in 2010, Lange has held various business leadership and strategy development roles across the company. He was the Global Business Director in Industrial Solutions business, responsible for maximizing profitability as well as developing and implementing a growth strategy for the business’ global asset footprint serving a range of markets including pharmaceutical, oil & gas, agriculture, textiles and electronics.

Lange also held roles in Corporate Development, leading strategic governance activities for the company and supporting company operations; Business Director of Dow’s Electronic Materials business in Tokyo; and DowDuPont Joint Integration Management Office creating the overall program plan to close the merger transaction, capture the value of the realigned portfolios and spin into three independent, publicly traded companies.

Before joining Dow, Lange worked as a consultant in the Strategy and Operations Practice of Deloitte Consulting in Chicago. As a consultant, he developed corporate growth strategies, business marketing strategies as well as valuation support for various strategic options and capital investments across several different industries.

Lange holds an MBA with honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Indiana University.
